Traditional acupuncture uses very fine, single-use needles placed at specific points on the body. Each session starts with a conversation about you, and Hannah may also use cupping, scraping or moxa (gentle warming with a herb) as part of the treatment.

What to expect
- A short consultation about your health, lifestyle and what you’d like from the session
- Very fine, single-use, sterile needles, usually left in place for a short time while you relax
- Most people feel little more than a light tap as each needle goes in
- Cupping, scraping or moxa may be added if suitable
- Simple aftercare advice before you go
- Please tell your acupuncturist if you’re pregnant, take blood thinners or have a medical condition
